Following his removal as an opener from Ed Sheeran’s tour, Macklemore has announced a series of headline performances under the banner “Free Palestine.”
The run will kick off in October with arena shows in Dublin, Paris, and London, with additional cities — including stops in the United States — expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
Each show will feature Macklemore alongside artists and friends for performances intended to raise humanitarian aid and awareness for Palestine and Palestinians. As such, all proceeds from the concerts will benefit organizations including Anera, Glia, Gaza Soup Kitchen, Taawon, HEAL Palestine, Palestinian Youth Movement, Middle East Children’s Alliance, Jewish Voice for Peace, Medical Aid for Palestinians, Institute for Middle East Understanding, Palestine Children’s Relief Fund, and UNRWA USA.
“It’s 2026. Being apolitical during a genocide doesn’t work anymore,” Macklemore wrote it an Instagram post announcing the tour. “People are asking artists to show up, educate themselves and be in community. To use the stage for more than entertainment. To push back when the call for a Free Palestine is met with attempts to silence it.”

In putting together the tour, Macklemore said he’s “spent the last week reaching out to artists who have shown up and used their stages to stand in solidarity with the Palestinian people, regardless of the consequences. Artists who understand that our platforms mean very little if we’re only willing to use them when it’s safe.”
“Because of how quickly all of this has come together, a lot of the conversations, schedules and details are still being worked out. But this is a moment of momentum, and there is work to be done,” he added.
A ticket pre-sale for the initial dates is set for Monday, September 28th, with a public on-sale following on Wednesday, September 30th.
Earlier this month, Macklemore was removed as a support act from Sheeran’s tour after several stadium operators, led by New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft, objected to the Seattle rapper’s remarks in support of Palestine and threatened to block him from performing if he remained on the bill. In response to Macklemore’s removal, Sheeran’s remaining openers – FINNEAS, Lukas Graham, and Aaron Rowe – along with his live backing band Beoga, withdrew from the tour in solidarity with Macklemore and Palestine. Sheeran himself returned to the stage this past weekend in Philadelphia, where he addressed the controversy, expressed concerns over venues restricting artists’ speech, and shared his own views on Israel and Palestine.
