Director Michael Mann accidentally shot himself in the leg at a Los Angeles shooting range on Saturday and was transported by ambulance to a local hospital for treatment.
According to TMZ, the incident occurred at The Range LA around 4:00 p.m. local time. Mann was reportedly attempting to holster his firearm when it accidentally discharged.
A representative for Mann confirmed that the director suffered a “superficial injury” and was being released from the hospital following treatment.
