Slayyyter has shared a new single titled “i think he’s got a girl,” offering another glimpse of her fourth studio album wor$t man in america.
While many of Slayyyter’s recent tracks have been heavy, throttling bangers, “i think he’s got a girl” finds her in a more introspective and vulnerable zone. It tracks the immediate aftermath of when she discovered her partner was cheating on her with another girl — one who’s “rich and from Manhattan” — and sees Slayyyter pair this sobering realization with a dreamier, grungier sonic palette. The song serves as the inverse of her previous track “UNKNOWN LOVERZ,” and, with its guitar-forward chorus, employs a more moody, emotional, and wounded perspective than her usual fare. The 30-year-old singer recently announced a companion piece for WOR$T GIRL IN AMERICA, which was released in March 2026. The aptly named wor$t man in america features nine tracks and arrives December 4th via Columbia Records. She has already released two singles from the upcoming project in the form of “brand new chanel$” and “crank 2,” both of which revisit material from its predecessor. Her latest offering is listed as the fifth track on the new album.
While wor$t man in america is made up of entirely new songs, it will partly explore themes from WOR$T GIRL IN AMERICA from an inverted perspective while introducing new ones as well.
The announcement follows a particularly busy year for Slayyyter. In addition to making her late-night television debut on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, she recently contributed a reworking of “BIRDS” to Turnstile’s NEVER ENOUGH: VERSIONS and performed a cover of Hole’s “Violet” for triple j’s Like a Version series.
