The imminent release of Grand Theft Auto VI has been an underlying plot point on this season of South America (aka South Park) as the town marches toward November. Throughout the early episodes, the game has been cited as a potential cure for the country’s misfortunes, and when data centers threatened the town’s electrical grid (and thus residents’ ability to play the game upon its release), community members sprang into action.

In the show’s latest episode, “Guinea Pig on a Stick,” steakhouses find themselves in a literal firefight over South America’s cattle supply in a bid to meet America’s growing appetite for patriotic beef. When the boys confront the head of Ruth’s Chris, she lets it slip that the beef is just a symbol of something much bigger: “You think it’s just about the cows? People don’t care about the cows. They care about this country. November is coming and everyone is freaking out because we have to choose who will be in charge when we are all dealing with something that we’re not prepared for.”

She then shows them the truth: unreleased gameplay footage of Grand Theft Auto VI.

“Look at that, the graphics are seriously next level. You see the world-building?” the head of Ruth’s Chris tells the boys. “It’s a dog taking a poop. And people can pick up the dog poop. You can throw things at the person with dog poop, and if they choose to fight back, you can pick up the dog poop and actually attack them with the dog poop. That is what’s coming in November.”
