Blair Dunlop

Blair Dunlop, award-winning British singer-songwriter and guitarist, has now released 5 albums, 1 live album and toured around the globe.  All of this in a relatively short career is astounding alone but what sets Blair apart from his peers is the lyrical and musical maturity with which he writes.  His third album ‘Gilded’ was released in May 2016 on his own label – Gilded Wings – and was widely acclaimed gaining BBC Radio 2 Playlist status for the two single releases (‘The Egoist’ and ‘356’).  Prior to this Blair released his acclaimed album ‘House Of Jacks’ in mid 2014 which lived up to the promise of his 2012 debut ‘Blight and Blossom’ (the quality of which contributed to his winning the BBC Radio 2 Horizon Award).  Blair has now cemented his place as one of Britain’s most exciting talents.. 2024 Blair saw the release of his 5th studio album ‘Out of the Rain’ on his own label to rave reviews.

Joining Blair at The Vanguard will be Mia Kelly (CAN), an award-winning singer-songwriter from Gatineau, Quebec, making her mark on the Canadian folk music scene with a distinctive blend of folk, rock, and blues. Since releasing her debut album Garden Through The War (2022), she has been recognized as a poetic lyricist with a powerful and versatile voice. Known for her ability to weave the stories of those around her into her music, Mia is an imaginative storyteller who channels raw, vulnerable emotion through expertly crafted songs.

Please note the time indicated on the ticket is the 'Door Open Time' the performance start time will vary from show to show, traditionally with Dinner & Show settings there is 1.5 hours from doors to the start of the performance, so that the dinner service does not interrupt the show. If you'd like to combine separate dinner and show tables, please email team@thevanguard.com.au with both purchasers full name and booking number to avoid being seated separately. Tables cannot be combined on the night.
